My temporary crown just came off, and I have to leave in 15 min to get ready for our fire performance tonight, my first ever paid gig. I called my dentist, but the office was closed. Erm...because I can't think of what else to do, I'm putting the crown back in and will go forth with the show as planned. I guess I should maybe *not* do the fire

Hope it lasts! Teeth seem to have some sort of holiday-and-weekend detection equipment. Last major tooth problem I had was two years ago, five minutes after I got to the first destination on my vacation (the River Rendezvous contradance weekend), when I bit into a pizza and was trying to figure out how some bit of plastic or glass had broken onto it. I picked it out of my mouth, and it was an old root canal tooth that had decided to crumble apart when I bit into the pizza. Didn't hurt, but I had to run around with a gap-tooth look for two weeks. Ugggh.
