I have plane tickets purchased...Huzzah! I will be in MI from Jan 18 to Jan 27, and, except for the SF Convention that first weekend and a potential side trip to Toronto, my schedule is free. I'm excited to see all of you midwest peeps whom I haven't seen for months upon months. I'm looking forward to hitting up the roving pirate bar at the con, ( Read more... )

Hey Xaina, is there any chance there'd be room for an extra person in your room? I was going to room with Leslie, but she's doing the SCA thing instead, and I haven't had much luck finding another alternative.

I don't mind sleeping on the floor, and I'm obviously cool with any sort of thing that you and your friends might get up to in the room.

Please oh please?

Hey Frank, I was actually planning on contacting you to see if you'd like to meet me for a meal or a beverage and do some catching up and/or sorting out of our past dramas. I missed you terribly after everything exploded, and if I'd been in the midwest back when you and Erika parted ways, I would have contacted you then. I'd love to see you and chat.

When I met you you said you were a Senior and I thought you meant in college. Oops.
We had a swordfight with battery-powered flowers in Mt. Clemens.
The last time I'm sure I saw you was when you agreed to go to a Tori concert, but you delined to attend since my friend wanted to hang there all day with the fans and you had to study. You really could have studied there; the weather was nice, the picnic was vegetarian friendly, and it was very mellow.

Ok, erm a name? My first guess would be Joe, and my second guess would be Dan. But ::shrugs:: I'm guessing we're going back eight years or so hear, and my memory is a bit fuzzy. I met several folks who figured me to be older than I was. Sword fighting with battery powered flowers is, well, just so obviously what I would do with battery powered flowers that any particular instance is hard to recall. And...Tori. Sheesh, I've always wanted to see Tori, but if it was during that stretch of finals where I didn't sleep for a couple of weeks, I could have dressed up like a taco for all I knew and not remembered. I'd like to think that I would remember not going to Tori because I'm sure it would have been disappointing, but, like I said, I really could have been a taco and not recalled. So, mystery MI person. Name?
