I'm behind with my Primeval reading as usual, but I couldn't resist leaping ahead because I've loved the Lester/Abby interaction I've seen in the fourth series. Okay, I've only seen the first two episodes, but I cheated and checked out the Lester/Abby hug from 4.04 on YouTube. Anywaaaaaay, I'll probably end up repeating what other people said, but I love the way Lester handles this situation with such calmness and grace. He's able to point out the error of Abby's ways without being judgmental and condescending. In other words, he's a real gent. :-)

Considering that Lester has been so nice to her (and she's been having issues with Connor over Burton), I can see why Abby would proposition him. In fact, I don't even have to point out the reasons because Lester explains it so well himself.

I'm glad you decided to rescue this story from your hard drive and post it. :-)

Thanks! I was quite surprised by the Lester/Abby interactions in season 4, especially since they've hardly had any screen time together in the previous three seasons... But they've been very sweet with each other in the past few episodes. Lester in particular has been very thoughtful and understanding towards her, which is probably where this came from. :)
