As it happens, it's one of my all time favourite h/c scenarios too... There's something about a person being completely dependent on another, especially when that person is one who considers independence to be a significant part of their identity. Connor's had to pull out all the stops to make Lester accept support, but even though James is resentful about needing it, I think he understands that it's better it be Connor than someone else.
I hope you've guessed right! Connor will be able to explain at least part of what's happening in the next part.

Oh, definitely, that's what I love about it as well. And the trust thing, having to trust someone else so completely (especially if they end up in a dangerous survival situation with someone incapacitated in some way).
And Connor seems to be doing a great job so far.

Definitely agree on the trust thing too, trusting so much to someone else is a pretty terrifyingly intimate thing! Especially for someone who isn't very trusting in the first place.
