Aw, that was sweet! I like the way Alex struggled with his power here, how he finally had to learn to let go. Mmm, and I love the image of Hank carrying him around and taking care of him.

They're all pretty wonderful boys! Hank is my very especially favourite boy though. (So sweet and smart and gentle...)

I've got a chunk of one story which is eventually going to be Alex/Hank, but so far they haven't actually managed to appear on the same page as each other. (Alex is too busy being angry and defensive at everyone, the poor, confused lad.)

I read this a few days ago and I'm so glad I remembered to come back to it because it was a novelty. We rarely get to see Hank talking coherent science and you played it so well to his character. I loved Alex's exasperation, his impatience, and that moment at the end when he finally released the energy and felt the blanket across his back, only to realise that it was Hank. Thank you for sharing this with us, I really like what you did here.

I sometimes wonder if the reason there's so little Hank-centric fic is that he's just so much smarter than everyone else, and therefore tricky to write dialog for. :)

I'm really glad you like the blanket bit too. Everyone should have a Hank blanket when they're feeling poorly! :D

Thank you for commenting! I'm glad you liked it. :D (I didn't ship them originally either, I was all "ooh, Charles and Hank should be a pairing!", but then I was converted to Alex/Hank by fic.)

This is a really fantastic fic-- I love how you managed to come up with a coherent theory behind Alex's powers and by that extension, did a kickass job with both of their dialogue and characterization. Lovely stuff!
