I keep missing parts of this story, going back and forth to see if the links are messed up, Sam gets a message that Dean is hurt, but we never see how Dean is injured, Sam and Dean are suddenly in bed wearing different clothes and we never see how, Sam teases Dean about kissing a guy, but which guy? We saw Dean in a garden with an angel statue, but he never kissed it, and how would Sam know?

You're about halfway through the story. Dean twisted his knee when he fell over the bench - not a fatal injury, but enough to get him to stay in the castle for the night. Then the next morning (and next chapter) he makes a fairytale reference and complains that he doesn't want to kiss a dead girl. Sam counters with, "But dead dudes are okay?" to shut him up.
