...He really dislikes the fact that he can't see her any more, because it means he doesn't know what she's doing now, and that bit about home visits is not very reassuring. Does Sof's mirror know where he lives? She definitely looked as though she'd like to.
You know what? He's going to err on the side of caution, wish the lock on the door to be stronger and...
...and stop himself from going to the bathroom for one of his two remaining EVE hypos. He's got maybe two-thirds of his EVE left, thanks to gratuitous coffee consumption; and he wasn't kidding when he said he didn't want to take risks with it. That stuff is a last resort.
