this past sunday morning,
many gathered in santa barbara to celebrate our fallen friend. i understand its a hawaiian tradition for surfers to remember their own by paddling out into the ocean and saying goodbye. It really was a beautiful experience to participate in this ceremony.

What a beautiful memorial. I'm sorry for the loss of your friend, but I am glad that you have so many good memories of him and that his memorial can be added to them. *hug*
