It hadn't taken much at all to convince Jack that he should sleep in the cage. In fact, the other man had simply seemed happy that Logan was more like himself again. Jack yawned and stretched as best he could before he rose a little and braced himself on one arm.

"I want out," he said simply, blinking awake and noting the sunlight coming into the hut. "I have to get to training. I'll come right home, though. We can keep going then." He had a commitment and it had been nearly twenty-four hours. Surely Logan would drop the game for a while.

"Pets don't fight wars. Well, except for that book with the rabbits... But whatever, no. You can miss training this week. I'm feeling better, and I want you home. So pick, you can either go for a walk with me and Linus and then have breakfast, or you can stay in there and sulk about not going to training," Logan replied, simply but firmly.

He very nearly chose sulking, if for no other reason than it was training. It was a commitment. A responsibility. Ultimately, Jack sighed and shook his head. He'd just take the licks from the XO on Monday. Hell, he'd probably even enjoy it.

"I'm not crawling," he said finally, glowering at Logan through the bars.

"Wasn't going to make you," Logan replied simply, getting to his feet and opening the cage. "Wash up and then come into the bedroom, I'll have your clothes picked out and waiting," he said, reaching down to stroke Jack's hair gently.
