We should all hear/read this poem, because it's just perfect.

Each day we go about our business,
walking past each other, catching each other's
eyes or not, about to speak or speaking.

All about us is noise. All about us is
noise and bramble, thorn and din, each

I really like it ... I think I like it better written, and read in my "in my head" voice though. Her diction drove me nuts when she was reading it on Tuesday. But I think that's just me and my garbled-talk-too-fast brain talking. :)
