1.) How old do you wish you were?: I'm not unhappy with my age. I like it--I do wish I could speed up this coming year.

2) Where were you when 9/11 happened?: in the basement of the Florida State University Centre in London (England). It was in the afternoon there, and no one believed the news when they heard it. I lived there until late December 2001, so when I got back to the US, things were more than a bit strange.

3) What do you do when vending machines steal your money?: Usually try to kick/shake them a little, not much, then give up.

4) Do you consider yourself kind?: Almost all the time.

5) If you had to get a tattoo, where would it be?: a fairy on my back or a celtic knot/wreath around my upper arm.

6) If you could be fluent in any other language, what would it be?: I guess the most useful would be Spanish, but I'd also llike either German or Hindi.

7) Do you know your neighbors?: Not really

8) What do you consider a vacation?: If I'm taking time off, I want to GO somewhere...get a change of scenery and not sit around.

9) Do you follow your horoscope?: Not really, but I do enjoy doing natal charts.

10) Would you move for the person you loved?: Yes, if there were an existing relationship.

11) Are you touchy feely?: Not especially, but I like hugs and other affection, I just don't usually initiate.

12) Do you believe that opposites attract?: I think you have to be opposite in some ways and similar in others.

13) Dream job?: I once talked to an aluma of my school that worked for the Gates Foundation, traveling around the country. Sounded good to me--basically something awesome in the education field, teaching or libarianship, particularly acquisitions. That would be cool.

14) Favorite channel(s)?: PBS (BBC News, Britcom, Dr. Who) and for radio, WYPR 88.1 and WTMD 89.7.

115) Favorite place to go on weekends? I can't pick one.

16) Showers or Baths?: Showers.

17) Do you paint your nails?: not really

18) Do you trust people easily?: Yes and no. I'm reserved, but once I open up to someone I'm trusting.

19) What are your phobias? snakes, conservatives, unfriendly people

20) Do you want kids?: Most likely, yes. I like the idea of adopting children though, for a few reasons.

21) Do you keep a handwritten journal?: No, not really.

22) Where would you rather be right now?: In a pool.

23) Who makes you feel warm and fuzzy?: Um, some of my friends and one or two crushes.

24) Heavy or light sleep?: Usually somewhat heavy, but if anyone else is awake around me, I wake up.

25) Are you paranoid?: No.

26) Are you impatient?: I don't think so, at least not usually.

27) Who can you relate to?: Not sure, nerds like me?

28) How do you feel about interracial couples?: I like seeing happy couples--diversity makes life more interesting!

29) Have you been burned by love?: Yes. I think anything worth having involves some element of risk, and sometimes when you risk,

35) What color shirt are you wearing?: Tie-dyed (my favorite kind!)

38.) What color are your bed sheets?: White with Purple and Pink butterflies. My favorite pair of sheets is dark purple.

39) How much cash do you have on you right now?: $1 and change, plus an "emergency" $20

40) What is your favorite part of the chicken?: Depends on the spices and preparation

41) What's your favorite town/city?: Many. I like Baltimore, but I really loved London as well.

42) I can't wait till: the next time I want to risk my heart.

43) Who got you to join myspace?: I don't know.

44) What did you have for dinner last night?: Mushroomy chicken dissh with rice and green beans

45) How tall are you barefoot?: 5'8.5"

46) Have you ever smoked heroin?: Um, no.

47) Do you own a gun?: Nope, and never will.

48) What do you prefer to drink in the morning?: All told, sometimes coffee (but of the strong cafe mocha variety), but usually tea.

49) What is your secret weapon to lure in the opposite sex?: Don't really have one, at least that's my story.

50) Do you have A.D.D?: no

51) What time did you wake up today?: 8:20 am on a Saturday. blah.

52) Current worry?: Student loans and having money in general

53) Current hate?: Something that really bothers me (hate is an extremely strong word) is being around a really negative person--putting yourself down never is good for you or the person you're talking with, it just bring the mood down.

54) Favorite place to be?: Whatever place I am feeling good and enjoying myself

55) Where would you like to travel?: Basically everywhere. I'd like to travel more in the Western US and Canada nearby, more of Europe, and Asia. South America and Africa would also be interesting to see, especially the wildlife and nature--but that's the kind of thing I like to see anywhere.

56) Where do you think you'll be in 10 yrs?: Living in a city, loving in a long term partnership (romantically) and some good friendships(platonically), working as an engaging teacher or heelpful librarian

57) Last thing you ate?: Steak nachos and ice water with limes

58) What songs do you sing in the shower?: Um, lots. Lately I've been listening to No Doubt's Rock Steady Album, Avenue Q, and Sarah McLachlan in the shower.

59) Last person that made you laugh?: Many people at the Urban Hike, but Amy comes to mind.

60) Worst injury you've ever had?: a knee and hip sprain (which left me with those joints aching before bad weather)

61) Does someone have a crush on you?: Why would I know about it? If anyone would like to volunteer information, you're welcome to do so!

62) What is your favorite candy?: Anything with dark chocolate, especially dark chocolate and nuts, espresso, or real raspberry
