Yay Grinnell!

This must be my weekend for randomly running into people from my alma mater, Grinnell College. Now, this is not some uncommon for someone who lives in Chicago, Minneapolis, DC, or is near a grad school, but I rarely find people who've _heard_ of Grinnell, and a miniscule amount that went there, since there are only around 17K alumni worldwide. I

I almost never come across anyone from Grinnell. I'm in NM. You?

Baltimore, MD...I think if you're not in a Midwestern city, DC, or a University town where a lot of alumni are in grad school, there aren't too many around. The closest Grinnellians I knew of before now were all in the DC area--there used to be DC alumni happy hours, and I went to one, but it's hard to get down to downtown DC on a weeknight.
