Spawn had her four month well baby appointment on Friday. She's now exactly average in weight and length for her age, which means she bounced back from being underweight during the height of the acid reflux trouble. Shot strategies...

We've started scheduling J's shots as near to the end of the day as we can so that he can sleep it off. We used to schedule for the morning, but that would mess up a whole day at daycare and he's still be fussy in the evening. For his 6 month shots, I think that the fussies were mostly cleared up by the morning.

This seems wise. I don't know if this extended sporadic fussiness was directly related to the shots or not. SB and I both had some uncomfortable digestive issues around that time that could have been a very mild bug.

These fussies caught us by surprise. At first we thought that she hadn't had any fussiness at her 2mo shots. But of course the opposite was true; that's when she was diagnosed with acid reflux, and she was fussy all the time. We wouldn't have noticed anything from the shots. Heh.
