I agree with Boubabe's statement that "hammock-like" is negative when describing beds, especially if you have weakness in the spine/pelvis areas. Hellspark and I had a mattress that could easily be described as hammock-like and the effects some mornings were downright crippling.
By the time you either attach a hammock securely to the structure of the house or else purchase and set up a free-standing hammock frame, it will be neither portable nor inexpensive. As for comfort and ergonomics, I'll consult my partner who sometimes uses a large hammock outdoors.
