I put in my contact lenses for the first time in almost five years today.  They felt like little shards of rocks in my eyes, but I was able to leave them in for three hours.  Tomorrow I'll wear them for four and the day after that five.  When I'm done and can wear them all day long I don't think I'll feel much different, but I will definitely plan

why would you give them up for things you have to stick in your eye, get lost, get dirty and are not hot?

flexibility, my friend, flexibility. glasses are totally hot until you have to wear them in the rain and are unable to see for ten blocks. I imagine that I'll continue to wear my glasses most of the time, and I'm even planning on picking out a new sexy pair next week. Besides, this way I can dress up as Veronica Mars for Halloween.
