Today I vacuumed my car on the way home from house-sitting. I do this once every six months or so, and it is remarkable only because for about five minutes I get to pretend like I am a normal person who takes care of her things and not a total slob who spills coffee on her car and leaves grapefruit peels in it because I like the smell

Don't be troubled. That line is taken from Cat's "Foreigner Suite" from his 1973 album "Foreigner". Back in those days "programming" (as in computer programming) was a fairly new concept and it was a clever line and nobody thought anything of his use of that term. All he is doing in the new song is tying in his old song with this new song. In the old song he said, "I've seen many other girls before, but heaven must have programmmed you" meaning she was the perfect girl. Actually, "Heaven/Where True Love Goes" is a great song. cat stevens has a song all about how much he loves his dog. that right there won me over. i'll have to check out his new stuff.
