since when is a latte an "elitist, aristocratic" drink? thats what a guy said to me today. "She's getting a latte, some sort of elitist, aristocratic drink."
he of course, would only get workingmans drip coffee

people are strange......

....and I LOVE MY JOB!!!
now to watch SATC, eve's cool bf gave her every single seaason!!!!!! AAAAAHHH!!

what is SATC? Where are you working? How is a latte aristocratic? Did you inform him that it was a small amount of coffee, stronger than drip coffee, with steamed milk? I mean, maybe if it was a vanilla-orange latte with whip, then I'd be with him.

people like that say they go to the goat to escape the status symbol of a starbucks cup, but really it's the same thing to them. They're above the starbucks hoard, so why not the rest of the goat, too? It's hard to avoid, though. I do feel a little trendy walking around with a drink from the goat, be it latte or drip coffee. I'm glad you like working there, if I do get a job this summer I think I'd like to copy you or caitlin and apply at bookstores and coffee houses. But not starbucks, I'm too cool for that.
