I absolutely agree with you! This unsub ranked up there with the most creepy in my opinion too. The actor really sold it and sort of made my skin crawl as I watched.
Reid seems to have taken lessons at the Olivia Benson school of taking-it-personally. A little over the top, but I kind of liked the scene with Em talking to him on the plane. I figured Morgan was gonna be the one with the major chip on his shoulder for being kept in the dark.
My only complaint with this one was too much unsub and not enough BAU team. I really love seeing the team in action and working together. Now that we have them all back where they belong, I want to watch them work! The cooking class at the end was fun though.
I also saw another spoilerish interview (now I can't remember where I saw it - still jet-lagged I guess) about JJ & her family. I won't tell if you haven't already heard, so let me know...
And here's the part about CM in case you don't want to read through all the other questions:
Are JJ and Will still together on Criminal Minds? - Lisa ADAM: You all want to know what she meant by "It's a long story," right? The good news: She and her baby-daddy are still together. The better news: We will see Will - and Henry! - in this season's seventh episode. "We see a little more into what JJ has been up to since she was gone, how that's affected her personal life, especially now that she's back [in the BAU] in the field with crazy hours," A.J. Cook tells us. "And [Henry's] getting older, so it's harder."
It's not TOO spoilery, but I had such high hopes that Will had found his way back to the swamp. I guess not.
The unsub was already one of the creepiest they've had but when he started in on his niece it just made him seem even more creepy. The actor did a great job but he's now on my list of people I wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley.
I think Reid's attitude fit his character, as he's done that sort of thing before, but I am very glad they addressed it in a single episode and we won't have to suffer through it throughout the season.
WOW! You nailed it. That guy was a freak with a capitol F!
The returns of J and Emily have made this must see for me again. I ususally like Reid (and hate Morgan), but dude, seriously-Rossi had it figured out!
Liked the cooking together scene at the end and that they completed the unsub's cycle of destroying his victim's senses with the brother eharing his daughter's screams as she was attacked.

and I hadn't even thought of the similarities of Reed and OB - lord, that is perfect!
And Morgan totally came through - kind of amazed me in a very good way
I've been loving the Emily - JJ interactions
