I feel like I saw (and linked to) a test/storyboard version of this back when it was in beta, but the finished version is a-freakin'-mazing. You know all you FF6 fans would have sold your souls for this as chibis.

Also, transforming Esper Terra animation omgyessqueeeee. Also, my version of Celes. May actually have to try and icon some of this.

(Yes, folks who know me, I still live. Just can't seem to get back into blogging proper yet.)

Anyways.... wow. Just. Forking. Wow. And really, that Locke reminds me quite a bit of the one I know, even though it's been a few years since I've last seen or spoken with him. x^^;

Jeosephat! I'd never seen that before, and the second layer of links leads to pages I can't read. Can you provide links or a little more background material on this stuff?

Hmm, okay, the vid originally came from Nico Nico Douga? Basically a Japanese version of YouTube, prone to creating a lot of pretty inventive parodies (called MADs, sort of the Japanese equivalent of AMV, though often with original animation); mashups of one anime/game opening sequence with another's characters are quite common. Beyond that, I'm not sure who's responsible for this particular piece, though.

I could probably dig up some more FF6-related mashups on Nico Nico, if you like? I have an account there, and I can read moonspeak a little.
