My Dreida loves human mouth, too. I guess it's an ekkie thing :)

Does one of those boys have an overgrown beak, or is that the camera angle?

Simon's beak is impossible to keep up with. This is the length that it's usually at before he starts conditioning it himself. He tests very healthy and has always had a prominent beak.

He used to have a little split in the very tip, middle of his beak and that finally grew out about three months ago but if I wanted to take him for a beak trim every time it grew longer, I'd be taking him in at least once a month. He seems to be comfortable with this length and it in no way impedes any of his abilities, so I just accept him for who he is.

As long as he always tests healthy :) He's handsome with any beak size!

Yes he is!
It is funny, though, how much smaller the SI is compared to the Vos.
Simon's feet are so much smaller than Kiwi's and I tell him all the time, "don't worry baby, it doesn't make you any less of a man." LOL!

Won't write much as i'm not sure this will go through - been a long time since i posted on live journal. Not used to seeing a fully feathered eclectus after being with JB all day every day.

I think Kiwi looks funny with the other two fully feathered ones. What you're doing with JB is great. Keep it up and I'm sure you will make progress. The important thing to remember is that he probably won't become fully feathered again after the damage he's done to his feather follicles but at least he might become fuzzy again considering he has new feathers sprouting here and there already.
