[Log] Pillow fight is GO!

Date: 25th May (the post was dated the day before as Rubi fails)
Who: Oshitari Yuushi and Oshitari Kenya
Rating: PG-13 - sexual innuendo as Yuushi needs to diaf :C
What: As a continuation of this thread

Whatever Kenya's answer would be, Yuushi didn't wait for it. To be perfectly honest he wasn't all that concerned with it, and instead decided his fun was not over. He set his laptop carefully down on his bed, making sure that it's air vent wasn't covered and set it to sleep by closing the lid. It made a slight audible snap that reverberated in his head dully.

As he shifted, he stood in one fluid motion, raising to a height that was much greater than his cousins. By all of a centimeter or two. Quietly he crossed the room, keen eyes on his cousin the whole time as he watched him. Without any other warning than his comment not long ago, he reached out to pinch Kenya's cheek.

"My, what adorable cute cheeks you have. Ken-tan~" Yuushi's smug voice drawled softly. Amused.

Luckily, Kenya didn't have a bulky laptop, or at least he wasn't using that one right then. He was on his netbook, curled up on his bed and shifting far too often for it to be all that comfortable. The message on the journal had been one warning, but as soon as he heard Yuushi start to move, he was pushing his dear netbook out of the way in favour of getting ready to stop his cousin from doing... whatever it was he was going to do.

Probably what he'd mentioned, actually.

He was proved right when he'd finished putting the netbook out of the way, only to have his cheek pinched. Ow. With a scowl he reached out behind him, and yanked his pillow up to hit Yuushi around the side of the head with it. "Get off me." It didn't help that half his face was going slightly red from the strain on his skin either. The other half did match up though when that stupid nickname clicked in his head, in an instant he pulled his hand back to whack Yuushi around the head. "And don't call me that!"

Yuushi didn't so much feel the vibrations in the air from the pillow starting it's ascent toward him as much as he felt it hitting his head. The first whack succeeded in wiping the look off his face for a brief moment as it actually collided. Kenya was far too fast for him, who wasn't quite slow himself but definitely not as speedy. The second whack he was somewhat ready for, and managed to put his hand up to shield his head from the blow.

"Does it make you feel like a kid again?" He asked, a chuckle slipping passed his lips. Swiftly, he grabbed Kenya's other pillow from the bed and whacked him over the rear with it, smirking faintly. "I could always sing you a song."

A yelp actually slipped out when his other pillow was grabbed and used on him. His eyes narrowed and he aimed for his cousin again, relying on speed to actually make it connect before Yuushi would know it was coming. "Not. Really." The words were grounded out as he tried to shift out of the way so he couldn't be hit back so easily. Though it was more because of the song that Yuushi was talking about. He didn't know which it was, but it was likely to be something that would piss him off even more.

"No." That was definitely clear, right?

He held his pillow in front of him as a sheild, kind of wishing he'd given the other multiple hits for being such an ass again.

Needless to say, Yuushi's pillow was also raised in defense, and while Kenya actually lacked tactics, Yuushi was certainly no match for speed. The hit connected, but he couldn't particularly feel it - it was just a pillow, after all. He rested his knee on the edge of the bed, hoping to get some leverage as he finally swung down. He aimed for Kenya's side as a faint and quickly changed the direction of his attack to cut across and hit the other side in order to confuse him.

"No?" He repeated. "Your loss."

Luckily, while Kenya's physical reactions were instant, his mental ones were not. He blinked in confusion when the pillow hit the other place before he stumbled back slightly to get out the way. A faint pout formed with his bottom lip sticking out slightly, considering he'd been bested for once. "I doubt it." He actually took a spin then, using that to get more force into his next hit, aiming for Yuushi's shoulder.

"It was probably some tacky song to annoy me." He'd most likely be right too, especially considering the fact they were in the middle of a pillow fight of all things. "I told you that you're an ass."

Kenya never lied. Maybe. Mostly anyway.

Trying to put more force into it only meant that Kenya's attack was slower. Yuushi could guard against something like that easily, but considering they were only in a mere pillow fight, he allowed Kenya his hits. It wasn't as if pillows actually hurt anyway. Though they did surprise him slightly. Not that it showed, of course. Even Kenya wasn't privy to his emotions all the time.

"Perhaps." Yuushi chuckled. "Nothing you have not heard before, certainly."

In fact, sometimes Yuushi hummed those songs just to annoy him. It was amusing when he reacted, after all.  "I firmly believe you like it when I am an ass, Kenya. You get your undivided attention from your most favorite cousin."

"Probably not-" Kenya actually growled at the second comment though. "Why would I like that?!" He grabbed the pillow with both hands then and proceeded to slam it down over the top of Yuushi's head, this time hard enough so he would actually feel it. The whole dormitory was probably lucky he was still in control right then, otherwise there might have been a nasty surprise for everyone had he let that comment properly get to him.

"And whoever said you were my favourite anyway?" Ah, a tiny smirk appeared at that, at the same time he aimed another hit to Yuushi's side.

Ow. He winced and stepped back, making sure that his glasses weren't harmed by all the pillow fighting. The frames were delicate enough that they may break with a little tension, but luckily they were fine. However it didn't save him from being hit again, this time successfully making him topple to the mattress.

Yuushi's balance was certainly nothing like Kenya's, but being that he was forcibly trying to tune all the vibrations from the pillows flying in the air, and the fact his attention was elsewhere. Well. It couldn't be helped at all.

He landed with a light 'oof' sound onto his side. Rather than get up, he took a moment to feign being heartbroken. "You wound me again, Ken-tan. Who else do you call more than three times a day, despite being in the same neighborhood?"

Awesome. One point to him! Kenya grinned as soon as Yuushi actually lost balance and toppled onto the bed, though that grin went poof within seconds. "..." Well. There was a point, but that was because he got bored when he wasn't allowed out of the house or hospital, n-nothing to do with Yuushi being his fav... Damn it.

"Shut up-" Well, there wasn't anything else he could say to that, was there? "And what did I say about that stupid name?" Awww, now he was half angry, and half sulking. It only made him look like he was actually bristling like a cat. To be fair, he was almost hissing at him anyway. Though...

"And I called Kura almost as often, so you're not that special." Yeah, take that Yuushi. Even if it wasn't really quite the truth.

"You do know the old school definition of 'shut up', yes?" He chuckled softly, on the cusp of looking like a cat that got the fat rat. "I believe I am already on your bed. There is no need to mention it."

Pushing himself up on the bed, Yuushi let his pillow drop and got comfy, using it as more of a head prop than a weapon. "Though I suppose I do deserve that. Even though he shares the evil deeds he does with me as a competition." It was a lie, but Kenya didn't need to know that.

...

...

There was a long pause as Kenya took the time to actually work out what Yuushi was talking about, only when he did... Well. The poor dormitory did suffer for it this time. The ground shook first, rattling the structure of the building and Kenya did let out a full growl then... before he pushed his pillow on top of Yuushi's face to try and sort of suffocate him. They didn't need air like humans did, but it would still be highly uncomfortable.

"One day," he started, pressing down harder for a second. "I'm actually going to kill you for something like that." Hey, at least the building had stopped rattling now though? Instead, he pulled back enough to whack him with the pillow again. Yuushi's poor glasses didn't stand a chance.

Maybe Yuushi was a masochist, but even as the pillow came against his face he was thoroughly amused. He fumbled around for a moment to find Kenya's arm and wrapped his hand around his wrist, gently squeezing rather than slapping him away. Almost as a silent 'I give'. The tremors weren't anything new to him, though he did have a concern as to whether or not they would be yelled at by Atobe. That was likely, but it wasn't that he particularly cared if they disturbed everyone else. It was Kenya's fault for it all, really.

When the pillow was removed, on the other hand, he doubled over in laughter, holding his stomach. To Yuushi, it was that hilarious. And the only one who he would let see him in such a state was most certainly Kenya. They'd seen each other in far worse over the years anyway. What, with being competitive and all.

"I very much doubt that." He smirked wickedly and reached up for his glasses. That very smirk was wiped clean off his face as he took the metal frames from the bridge of his nose and frowned down at it. Well, at least that was enough to ruin his mood somewhat. "You ruined another pair, Kenya. How are you going to compensate me for this, hm?"

The pillow was dropped next to Yuushi's head then, considering it seemed his cousin had gone insane. Kenya was stuck in a less than happy mood. Actually, he was grouchy and wished he had an outlet to deal with it. The only outlet was the one actually putting him in that mood though and was currently laughing like an idiot. Kenya frowned and shifted back, more so because it had clicked that he probably shouldn't have let anger take over again. But at least he hadn't made the building crumble to it's foundations like he could have.

"Maybe you should be more careful about how much you piss me off next time then." He raised one arm up to thread his fingers through his hair. He'd apologise to Atobe later for slipping up already, they'd barely been there a day or two and he was already shaking the ground. Damn it. "You look stupid in them anyway." Why yes, his mood was that sour now.

Well, at least Yuushi dare not touch Kenya at this point. There was something to be said of knowing that lesson. He hummed a response as he set the classes on the mattress between them and rubbed the bridge of his nose. "Then I should implore you to make up your mind, my dear cousin. You were the one who suggested them in the first place."

He remembered that day vividly. They were playing in his father's office at the hospital he worked at. Kenya didn't have blond hair back then, and to be honest Yuushi preferred it that way. Natural and cute. Both boys remained waist high, wearing his father's lab coats as they occupied their time, when Kenya picked the set of glasses up off his father's desk and made Yuushi wear them. From then on, he had. They were never prescription, but Kenya told him that he looked cool with them and that was enough for him.

Point to Yuushi on that, he hadn't really meant it at all. More because he was indifferent to them now more than anything else. They were just... there. "We were kids." He didn't actually apologise though, just moved further along his bed until he could get to the table by the side of it, rumaging around inside the drawer. He hadn't expected them to be sharing a room when they got here, otherwise he would have known this would have come in handy as soon as it did, but he handed Yuushi a discount voucher to get them repaired anyway. "Mum gave me that just in case." She knew them too well.

The next thing he reached for though, wasn't the usual. He just took one of the tablets with the hope that it'd make the bad mood go away. He was still getting used to them, after all, and while it was pretty obvious they were fake... at least it did something. It was just hard to tell when he actually needed to take them and how often. He dropped the case back in the drawer, nudged it shut, then just flopped back on his bed. "Sorry." Yuushi would hopefully know he meant for both the glasses comment and for breaking them accidentally to begin with anyway.

Now that things were calming already, Yuushi took the coupon with a slight smile. "Aah, Auntie Mariko knows us too well. I wonder if she knew we would be rooming together."

He was careful as he pocketed the coupon, making sure not to crumple it more the necessary. He glanced toward Kenya and reached out to ruffle his hair gently. "We both know that I am at fault here, Kenya." At least Yuushi was honest, if nothing more. "Shall I rub your tummy like a good earth shaking kitten, or would you like some warm tea instead?"

"Probably." Kenya rolled his eyes at that, finally letting a small smile grace his lips again. Though he usually did when he thought of his mum, awwww. "She tends to know more than she lets on." He let his eyes shut at the hair ruffle, a wider smile forming when Yuushi at least admitted that he was at fault by being such an annoying tease. It was kind of shattered when Kenya heard the question, considering how he did bristle up again, very much like a kitten actually. "I'll get soda."

His stomach actually twitched for a second though as he weirded himself out by even just thinking about it and slowly pushed himself up using the muscles there to make it seem to himself that it was the only reason why there'd been a reaction in the first place. "There has to be a vending machine somewhere, right?" Ah, probably not... He was probably going to go crazy here with less sugary food and drink than he could get at home. Damn.

"I am sure she does." Yuushi replied, stretching out on the bed, completely taking liberties at his will. It wasn't as if he wouldn't allow Kenya to do the same, after all. Besides that, they'd shared a bed before. "Though should you find a vending machine, I think it would be a miracle. Maybe if you crossed the school and broke into the cafeteria."

Who knew what laid in Eclipse Academy, though. They'd barely been at the school a day and already they were sort of at each others throats. Almost. Not quite in a good way, either. "Will you be alright to go alone? I don't particularly feel like going out at the moment."

"Maybe... if it's even open now." Kenya sighed and reached into his drawer again for his wallet. At least he had some change on him now anyway and wouldn't be heading over there with nothing to get out of it. "I guess I'll have to go into the town at some point and stock up on everything." That seemed like a brilliant plan, actually. Especially as he wanted sweets and chocolate too. It would be one of the few ways to keep his mood up at least.

"And I'll be fine. Do you want anything though?" He stood up and shoved his wallet into his back pocket and headed for his sneakers by the door. If he ran, he'd make it there in no time anyway. That and they probably were going to go crazy if they spent every day together in the same room. Oops.

"No," He answered shaking his head. A stray lock of hair fell into his eyes in the process. He leaned back, allowing his head to hit the mattress behind him as he brought his knee up. "I was smart and packed an electric teapot and some tea leaves. But if you feel like it, you know what I like."

Stocking up on things didn't sound like a bad idea, though. Eventually he would run out of tea and other such snacks he liked. It would only make sense to bring more in when he could, but he would most certainly go at a different time. Now was not exactly a good one, and he needed space as much as Kenya probably did at the moment. Yuushi knew he shouldn't push so hard, but it was difficult to refrain when his cousin was so adorable and amusing when riled up. "I will pay you when you get back if you get me anything too."

"Well I had too much stuff already." Three to four suitcases of clothes to just begin with. Nevermind enough hair bleach to last a while and other necessities. Now he was kind of regretting it... He sighed and slipped his sneakers on, stretching a little as a warm up as they kept talking. Kenya's bad mood was starting to evaporate now though, but it was likely he'd come back smiling if he went for a run anyway. "Sure, sure. Not like it really matters that much."

He paused once the basic stretches were done and let his hand twist the door handle. "I'll not be long anyway, though I might call at Atobe-sama's and apologise on the way back." That part was his fault, so it was only fair if he apologised for it.

Yuushi was definitely not one to talk, as far as how many things he'd brought with him. At least he'd only packed the necessary books. If he needed he may buy new ones, make due without, or get something else entirely to sate his literary needs. Though, he did know that should he buy something new while he was at school he was going to make Kenya's life entirely impossible by reading passages aloud to him.

"Give him my regards." Yuushi replied as he waved, not looking at Kenya in the mean time. "And beware of hunters~"

Kenya almost stumbled out the door when Yuushi tacked that on the end. He sent him a scowl over his shoulder before sticking his tongue out. "I'm only going to buy soda and chocolate Yuushi. That isn't a keyword for another student." He was the good one, after all. He shut the door behind him then though and started running towards where he thought the cafeteria was. it was probably going to take a few attempts to find the place, but at least this way he was getting a nice run in at the same time.

Staying in the room all day had made him fidgety already.
