Fine wine or rotten grapes?

There's times when I look back at what I wrote and say, "Whoa... I'm really not as good as I thought I was." But just this morning, I glanced back at a poem I wrote about a year ago and thought that its probably my most promising poem. Honestly, I think its very, very good. But maybe its because I have a behind-the-scenes take on what it means. Or
