[He tilts his head to the side, humming lightly as he lets the trident prop on the ground. He gazes at you with sightless eyes, blue-grey swirling with a bit of amusement.
It takes a moment, as he searches the realms of dreams within his subconscious, wandering, looking before--ah.
There is something different.]
...Did this island do something awful again?
[He remembers the mermaids, and their twisted little games--remember them like the nightmarish edge to a faraway dream.]
...This place seems to be good at that. [He sounds notably younger--he's lost ten years, after all. But unlike Ryu and Giotto, he still remembers everything.]
[He nods his head--this flame, he recognizes, but once more, the curling embers are different. Quite unlike the burning torrents which are your storm attribute, this is almost like only a spark, the beginnings of a cackling fire.]
Signore Valente.
[He gives you a small bow, long dark hair curling around his shoulders. There is a smile on his face--a polite smile, with less innocence.]
I am to assume that I returned to this island then.
I heard from the Decimo it shouldn't be longer than a week, at most. You should be able to leave then at least. [Lucky for you, but perhaps not so much your younger self. It makes him wonder though--whether this is just an oddity. If you only showed up here, after the years, because of the age change, or if this place will always have a hold on all of those stuck here.]
This place is...playing tricks again. [He frowns at that, but it doesn't really reach into his tone. And you can tell to some extent, he's sure, but he'll clarify the change anyway.] The older have gotten younger, and the younger older. For some reason, both Giotto and Ryu have forgotten everything after the memories of their younger selves.
[His expression wavers, only just slightly, before it morphs back into that polite smile.] Ah, yes, Sawada Tsunayoshi... Boss' descendant.
[His grip may have tightened but it's difficult to notice as the trident then chooses to fade away into mist. He listens, a thoughtful light glimmering in his greyish eyes, and he hums lightly.]
I have.. no recollection of such an event. This is rather worrying.
[He remembers vaguely that the Boss was rather... spastic when he was young, and Signore Ryu..]
[There was something else tiny watching you as well, though at a further distance. His memory of ten years prior to this change were finally all faded away. Needless to say, you seemed kind of interesting, but pretty much any strangers over twice his size made him a little nervous. Especially when somewhere completely new, different, and also all alone]
[... But you probably don't really care about that. What might matter is that feeling of another little Sky flame nearby]
[He chuckles softly, placing his hand over his heart and offering another bow. Apologetic this time.]
There is no need to be frightened.
[Long black hair flows over his shoulders, cascading like a a darkened waterfall, blue-grey eyes watching you from beyond that veil.
He hums lightly, noting that perhaps it was his touch that scared you, and so he takes back everything, erasing any sense of his presence in your subconscious.]
[He was never particularly shy as a child, so he likely would have approached anyway. But it helps, too, that he still remembers everything for those ten years, including this place.]
Uwah~ Nebbia got sooo tall. [But then, mostly everyone is very tall to you when you're so young.]
[He chuckles. He's always liked the touch of your flames--bright and fiery. Kind and peaceful--burning like the sun, like his fellow guardian. It's rather nostalgic.]
[She's not sure what it is. Ryu won her over, but she's wary of strangers by default, and yet... There's just something about you, regardless of the fact she remembers neither you nor your reincarnation, that she feels would be all right to trust. That feeling, however, does not stop her from keeping a shy distance.]
[He remembers you-- you, most of all, perhaps. Your kind of connection is one he can't forget, but there is something different, something alienating him from you, disallowing him to enter your mind as freely as he once could.]
Hello.
[But he merely smiles, and bows to you as a gentleman would.]
H-hello. [She sounds...somewhat unsure with the situation. It's half curiosity and half confusion. But now that she's been addressed, she'll take a couple steps closer.]
Do you...know where this is? I asked Ryu-niisan, but...
Ryu-niisan? [He smiles, thinking you possibly mean the Rain, Ryu Takashima. You are Japanese, like him, after all--perhaps you do know know him. You lost many years, after all.] This is an island, sorella, where many mystical things happen.

Hello, signore Revya.
[His tone is amused--this is surprisingly nostalgic. Once upon a time, he remembers as a child: an island and its inhabitants.
When he returned home, it was as though he awoke from a dream.
And now he has returned to that dream.]

So it is you, Nebbia~

Are they both all right?

[He notices the Sky flame, and it speaks to him, calls to him. It's powerful--immensely so, but it is not honed, untrained. Raw power at its finest.]
Hello, there.
[He spots you, not with his eyes but with his senses, a prodding sort of hand to your mind, but he takes it back quickly and nods his head in a bow.]

Signore Mikage. It's been a while.
[He chuckles. A few years, but you all act as though you've seen him--a little him just yesterday.]
