Weapon of Choice: Illusions
Secondary Weapon: Trident ; D.Spade's Lens
Special Abilities:
*Illusions : Nebbia's illusions, in contrast to many, if not all Misst-users, are as though they are the actual form of reality, itself. One can say that it is a matter of existentialism. Given that Nebbia has been blind for as long as he can remember, he does not know the color of the sky looks like; he is not aware of the beauty of a landscape or is he knowledgeable to the appearance of utter bloodshed and calamity. However, what he does see are the bulks of auras, the make-up of a being's existence. These are what he uses as a guideline to the creation of his illusions, and so, it stands to reason that his are among the most real and most believable. Sometimes, they may not even be simple illusions anymore, but actual things formed from seemingly nothing.
*Alchemy : Nebbia is not really adept in this sort of art, but he practices a basic form of it, given its principles of equivalent exchange, the creation of something from another and so on. This perhaps may be half the foundation why the young boy's illusions are capable of surpassing the line between what is real and what is not.
*Sorcery : Again, the First Mist is not an actual practictioner of this either. The illusions he create are perhaps categorized in various cultures as witchery and the like, and this is the reason why sorcery is the other half which supports Nebbia's illusions and the illusions of all illusionists. His sort of sorcery is when he creates his illusion as he describes them, speaking the words to make them appear as though they are spells, even though, in fact, they are not.
*Empathy : Nebbia... is a naive child who understands little of the world around him despite knowing many secrets of the world that one thrice his age shouldn't. However, another reason which makes him such a good Mist is that he can put himself in the mindset of another, feel exactly what they are feeling and think exactly their own thoughts. He is not a mind-reader and neither is he capable of telekinesis. It's a sort of possession, but not one exactly as he does not take control of another's self. Rather, he touches that person's mind, and in one instance, becomes that person before thoroughly knowing that person.
*Artistic Sense : This boy, young as he is and blind as he is, has a certain artistic flair in which he notices every detail and pays attention to even the most boring aspect. He likes to create things, experiment on things, and he usually enjoys putting crafts and puzzle pieces together and henceforth coming up with plans and strategies and countermeasures.
**Trident: He uses his Trident to channel his Mist Flames. It is also the weapon he uses in physical battles and sometimes, it is like a seeing stick of his which he prods and pokes things and people with.
**D.Spade Lens: Canonically, these lens allow the viewer to see what is beyond. Since Nebbia already sort of does that, this merely exemplifies it. Also, the whole curse thing is more of when he sees around five minutes into what will happen, only to realize those five minutes has already passed and he has gruesomely murdered the person. That is the curse. =v=
**This is entirely Giotto's fault, but Nebbia has the habit of picking up knick knacks and trinkets and bringing home strays so it will not be strange to suddenly find him holding up a very old book, a deck of cards, a kitten, a tiny bird, a huge doggy or even priceless stones and soft toys and whatnot.
Appearance: It is hard to distinguish Nebbia's actual heritage, but he is a small boy, bare 5 feet tall. There's an aura of innocence around him, and his features are similar to that of a cherubim's with dark shoulder length hair cut short and cut long on various angles stylishly. Being blind, his eyes are quite grayish but are actually a dimmed shade of sapphire. They have a tendency to reflect the color red upon a certain lighting.
Clothing: Nebbia... does not really care about the clothes he wear. Mostly, they are boyish suits of various colors the Vongola Primo had tailored for him with various styles and designs. He.. does not really care. (A/n: Think Ciel Phantomhive from Kuroshitsuji or Loki from Matantei Loki manga.) Other times, however, he dons disguises be it that of a young girl's or an errand boy's.

In-Depth Character Info
Personality: Nebbia... is a child, and he acts as such. He is like innocence incarnate whose hands are sullied with the wickedness of the people around him. He is not kind-hearted and neither is he gentle, but he is a curious child who, ironically enough, dislikes foreign things.
He is silent, mostly distrustful of people he does not know, and he has a tendency to touch peoples' minds without their consent. He does this because he does not really respect the notion of personal space and privacy, but apart from that, he does not really understand it.
He enjoys simple things and is often amused by the nonsensical, therefore it stands that Nebbia is the sort who loathes being bored apart from being left alone. He fears darkness, despite his blindness, and he is vulnerable to sensory overloads, and so upon meeting new people and bumping into alien things, he has a tendency to cling to the most familiar person/thing.
Not to say he is incapable of manipulation though. Nebbia is an adorable, small, innocent thing, but he is not helpless. He merely maintains a visage of it, but he is not in actuality. He is in truth a good actor, capable of donning the oddest and most out of place disguises, and he has no problems with deceit, with murder, with torture and so on.
Again, he is innocence incarnate, with bloodied hands and an endless list of killings with no actual sense of morality. It won't be strange to see him frightened and near tears or giggling and happily illusioning a meadow of flowers covered in the blood from a horrific massacre.
History: For the sake of disclaiming, Nebbia's past is actually a mix of the doujinshi GENZAI and the doujinshi game ALTOR.
Nebbia is a child the First Vongola, in one of his many strolls, found in the streets of the poverty-stricken Sicily. Being brought to the Vongola Manor, he barely spoke a word, barely uttered a sound, but despite his obvious fear and portrayal of mistrust, he latched unto Giotto as though the man was his lifeline.
He probably was, and Giotto allowed the child to follow him mostly wherever he went. He named the child Nebbia as he is like my mist who covers everything. Thus, he was introduced in the beginning as the Don Vongola Primo's ward. Given that he is blind and was incapable of either reading or even speaking, the duties of being Nebbia's tutors were left to the other guardians and Giotto, himself, because for some apparent reason, the young boy only chose to make a sound, even the smallest of whimpers and cries in their presence.
Eventually, Nebbia learned not only to prioritize his education but also to open up to his fellow guardians, finally speaking and wandering off, but it is then that they discovered the child's actual.. instability. Not to say that Nebbia was retarted or anything of the sort, but he is incapable of understanding the simplest concepts, remember the definitions of the sweeter things despite how he can complete puzzles in record time, create foolproof countermeasures and escape from endless labyrinths.
It was mortifying in the beginning: knowing that a child could not fathom the pleasures of joy and friendship and the beauty of love and so on, but everyone soon managed to cope, and perhaps, only certain advisers protested in Giotto's entitling the young boy as his Mist Guardian.
Nebbia, dutiful as he is and loyal to Giotto almost to a fault, agreed even though he may not have truly understood the implications of his devotion. He serves the Family in little and many ways, but never is he truly known as the Mist Guardian. To practically everybody in the Mafia World, the Mist Guardian of the Vongola Primo is like a myth. He is an invisible shadow always working in the darkness. This is partially true, as Nebbia is the shadow of the Boss, and he often works where no one would suspect.
Up until now, he is only known as the beloved little boy who is like a little brother to the Boss and his guardians, and never by his actual title of being the Mist Guardian.
As for his past, he remembers none of it. Or perhaps he does. He only has vague recollections like the smell of anesthetic, the clang of metal and the murmurs of scientists. He remembers darkness and pain and horror and hate. He remembers how they've called him a "corpse", but Nebbia does not understand any of this.
Giotto may be the only one who knows that in reality, it may be difficult to call Nebbia human. Or rather, it is difficult to refer to him as only one person, given that he is the embodiment of many. He had been an experiment, a plaything where he is the gist of a storeroom's crowd of people. He was supposed to be a weapon of not a Famiglia, but of the factions against the Mafia, where men and women of various talents were cramped into one sole body: the perfect killing machine, the most vulnerable servant but the most cruel assassin who is devoid of any moral sense and therefore also the epitome of innocence. He was nicknamed "Corpse" given that he is a corpse brought to life by many lives they had to kill.
Again, though Nebbia may remember bits and pieces of his true nature, he understands little of this and only knows his life as the Vongola Primo's Mist.
Canon Point:
*Kunpuu Island : Falling asleep with Cieli by the fireplace while the boss was reading....?
*Vongola Crown : Messing up Primo's study by taking out random books from shelves and illusioning stuff not even from their stories out of the pages.
------
Don Giotto de Vongola, Vongola Primo : He loves Giotto the most. The First is Nebbia's Sky, and as such possibly the most important person to the child. While he sometimes has a tendency to do things and say things the man may not like, Giotto's opinion and welfare matter most to him. His Boss takes priority, one might say, even though he is like a cross between a son and a little brother to the other. He has a habit of following him around, never leaving his side. Everything Nebbia knows, he mostly learned from Giotto--from language to etiquette to propriety to customs.
First Generation Vongola Guardians : Nebbia sees the other guardians as older siblings of sorts. Sort of. He cares for them greatly, even when sometimes he fails to comprehend those feelings and acts like he does not. What Giotto did not teach him, he was able to learn from his fellow guardians. He may sometimes snark, but that is perhaps a show of his affection. He is almost always unbearably polite, and he oftentimes clings to them when Giotto is away however rare that occasion is.
Mukuro Rokudo : Mukuro is Nebbia's reincarnation. Nebbia is the Tenth Vongola Mist's origin, one might say. They share many similarities and many habits, although Mukuro might be a tad more warped. Mukuro, of course, is aware of this, given the vision he had seen while entrapped in the Vendicare.
Don Tsunayoshi Sawada, Vongola Decimo : Tsuna confuses Nebbia. He feels like Giotto. He sees Tsuna's Flames as Giotto's Flames, and yet, the Tenth is not the First. The child has a tendency to follow Tsuna around, mistaking him as his own Sky, and is usually devastated when he realizes that is not the case. He oftentimes insist that Tsuna is Giotto, however, especially when the latter is nowhere around.
*eclissare nebbia is Italian for gathering mist
