I have called and talked to/left messages for every barn in a 30 mile radius of Seattle. Yikes! I don't know if I am ever going to find something as nice as where I am at for the price I am paying. Going to look at more barns on Friday and hopefully will hear back from at least 1/2 the people I called today. Thank goodness for the Horseman's ( Read more... )

I hope you can find something... I'd hate for you to have to stay with a barn manager (owner?) who has so much negative energy pointed towards your horse.

Things are looking up. My trainer found a barn for us (we have decided to move together) that she is going to check out and I have 2 to look at tomorrow (including the one recommended below). I give my notice to the barn manager tomorrow. I typed it in legal wording so everything is legit. No more drama! I just can't believe what people charge up here. I have 30 days as of tomorrow to find something. That should be plenty of time.

For the price - indoor arena - though it has western like footing - they will let you jump - they have a few.
There is daily turnout as well. Homestead in Renton - just off of I-405 - the family is really nice - mostly western, but really nice to everyone.
Lennie is the mom and you would probably talk to them..HOT AND COLD wash rack.

Will do! Thanks a million! I am also going to look at a couple places in Issaquah tomorrow. I will put these guys on my list. I wish I had more $$$ to spend on a place. The Monroe area is a little more affordable, but the gas to get there would cost me more.

There has been some luck. I have 30 days to find something. I may have found something that is affordable and still not a zillion miles from my house with horrid traffic. It isn't as nice as where I am now, but the people seem great and Onyx would have safe all day turnout. Thank you for asking. I am so glad things are going well with your ponies.
