The past couple of days have been both terrible and wonderful. Thursday night as I was walking to the bus stop from work I get "the call". Your horse is down and not eating. I call John and tell him to get home as soon as possible. I could not drive due to the fact that the weather is changing and I am starting to get migraines again. Driving

I am really glad Onyx was better with out complications. Do not ever hesitate to call, that is what I am here for! If things had gotten worse I would be there ASAP.

That's so weird, I had the exact same colic experience last month with Cricket. It is scary.. on the other hand, it was nice to spend all those hours with her just hand grazing, walking up and down the road, hanging out in her stall. I'm glad Onyx is ok!

It is scary and frustrating all at the same time. They seem okay, but you want to make sure. Silly mares. They like to worry their moms.
