Sometimes I need to step back and look at things differently. Last night I had a play day with Onyx. I lunged her with only a halter and then rode her bareback for a little while. I really wish we could free lunge, but it was still nice. We played together and just bonded. Her stall did not get cleaned, so I striped it and put in new bedding

hi i love horses and I liked your entry. Have you ever herd of parelli? You should look into it because you sound like you really want to bond with your horse. I have been riding parelli since I was eight and it is so much fun! Me and my horse ride allot with nothing but a string around his neck and we play liberty on the ground. Like no halter, no nothing and you can get your horse to do some cool things. It's just a suggestion. I'm new here and I'd appreciate if you would add me. Thankz.
