Why can't the mall report a closing or delay for the sake of the employees so that I could go back to bed instead of trying to call everyone to find out if I indeed need to come in

Yeah I saw that both malls were closed today. I called into work because the freeway is closed, so I can't even get there.

My dad said the kids in their neighborhood have been snowboarding down the streets all day (they live in the foothills and actually on a semi-steep hill). He said it was pretty funny. :)
