Tell the listening audience a memory of me. When you first met me, when I did something stupid, something I did that made you laugh, etc. And then post the query to *your* Journal

I first met you during E-Week of '96. :-) Road Rallye, specifically. I was with one of the /T\ teams for the event, and I seem to remember that someone (Nic) made it a point of bringing you a bottle of Finlandia. :-)
You know, the Road Rallye in '97 was a lot of fun. I remember ecoimp drug me along to go play with Eel and Jamie (and Boys on the Side was our theme...).

I don't remeber which meeting it was possible eweek. I just remember you sitting on the table in the lounge, several guys around you. You were figiting with your coin-size, airplane ear rings. I just remember thinking who is this?
The crazy times that followed.. well not immeditatly. I think we can thank EWeek '96 for our friendship. Herding 6 drunken dwarfs around the law barn was entertaining. We were such good decorators! Always in a bit of trouble, but we knew how to dress to the nines, dazzle them with our wits, and get down to business in anything we needed to do. The memories are to many and numberous to place here. Conventions, After parties, New Year's Eves, always ending up at Barnes and Nobles, U-turns for Krispy Kremes, Making an impression with rubber stamps as well as on our lives and the lives of our friends, getting yelled at by the BoD at a colonization... What can I say.. we were never bored, or left wanting... we always are...

I believe my first memory of you is sitting in the living room of 126 W Apache talking with you and others one evening. There wasn't any furniture in the room yet that I can recall, so it would have had to be after May 22nd of I think '96 but probably not too long after that.

I will wear it again one day, if only to embarass my daughter. But then again, if I raise her right, she will want to wear it herself.
