Summary: Cissie goes for a jog and runs into a certain billionaire playboy.

As soon as it seemed safe to go out without being serenaded, Cissie went for a walk. Maybe it was more of a run. She needed to think--or stop thinking. After the talk with Tim on the roof, and the last several days of resisting the urge to break into song when he was around, she needed space. It wasn't that she didn't want to spend time with Tim. That was the problem. She did. They were friends--he was her best friend. And she didn't want to ruin that by impulsively kissing him when he was in the middle of his repressive brooding. She was just glad that she hadn't, and that he didn't seem to have noticed that she'd wanted to.
She left the apartment and headed for the park, where she broke into a jog. She stuck to the less well-traveled sections of the fields and woods, and only slowed when she entered a clearing and saw that she wasn't alone.
