[Thread] Sugar + caffeine + alcohol + good company = ♥

Summary: Just because you're single does not mean you can't have a riot on V-day. Ayumi plans to make an ass of herself.

Playing hostess was hard work. Ayumi had pushed all the furniture in the common room aside, so the sofas were side-to-side and the coffee table was right against the wall. She had pulled all the sofa cushions down onto the floor, piled rather high with a ton of blankets, comforters, and pillows -- at least 2 for every person who showed up.
So, upon entering Ast-Enas, one would see several things. On the far right, at the end of the common room, an inflatable pool set up and filled to the brim with assorted fruit -- apples, kiwis, oranges, and strawberries. Against the wall just opposite the door, the cushion-less sofas and the coffee table... laid out like a buffet.
Enough bottles of an unlabeled alcohol so that each guest had at least one to him or herself. This was Kairi's unpredictable moonshine.
A pot of very strong coffee.
A small box of unlabeled white chocolates. Ayumi was uncertain where these were from, but was willing to risk it.
A box of fruit tarts, labeled 'L', but Ayumi wanted to share.
A box of milk chocolates, labeled 'Matt', but again, now in the public domain.
Two incredibly fluffy meringue pies...
A dozen homemade strawberry-glazed petits fours, 10 which were great, but 2 which didn't have enough sugar and would taste odd.
...And more other assorted desserts, straight from the Indigeo, than could be imagined.
Oh, and a Nintendo DS. Ayumi herself was in a thin plain white cotton top and matching drawstring pants: her pyjamas. Her pendant was tucked under her top, but was still somewhat visible. She checked her communicator and curled up comfortably among the blankets on the floor.
