[Jak doesn't bother answering. He'd been training by himself in the forest, and his sleeveless shirt is already damp with sweat. Clad in casual training gear, he slings his towel around his shoulders and jogs up the stairs to deck two.

He won't lie. He's curious, since it's not often Phoenix offers something his way without it being laced in insults.]
