[Someone had bombed his room, and if Phoenix were to hazard a guess, it would be to pin the blame on the woman who had threatened to kill him earlier and specifically mentioned bombs. He had no idea who she was or what she was capable of ( Read more... )

*Marco was on his way between the flower deck and his room when he came across Phoenix on deck 12. Lately he wasn't being very social, but he did need to ask the other man a few things. So Marco raises a hand in greeting.*

Hey.

[Phoenix sees Marco about the same time that Marco spots him. He lifts his hand as well, fairly certain that Marco isn't connected to the bombing of his room.]

Marco. How have you been?

Fine, given everything that's happened.

*That's not entirely true, and he doesn't bother to hide it.*

You? I noticed you attracted some attention lately.

[Phoenix frowns, eyeing Marco. He didn't fail to catch that something is slightly off.]

You're certain?

[At the reminder of his own problems, Phoenix grimaces.]

It is nothing I cannot manage. I have quite honestly dealt with worse. Still... Would not happen to know someone who is proficient with explosives?

[Well, if he should happen to wander up towards the top deck, he will very likely run into one very large, very heavily armed Autobot. An Autobot who is currently taking potshots at the waves over the side.]

[You know what is a wonderful sight to see? A friend and comrade he can truly trust.

A friend with guns.]

Impressive.

[And he really is impressed. This is the first he's seen of Ironhide's weaponry.]

[He fires off a plasma round, watching it arch across the water, before stepping away from the rail.]

Phoenix.

[Rolling his shoulders, he approaches, stopping a few paces away.]

You have been scarce.

[Phoenix shakes his head as he turns look out over the water where Ironhide's last shot went.]

Things have been... busy.

[That's something of an understatement.]

Let's just say that I am glad to be armed again.

[His hand falls unconsciously to his side, checking to make sure his gun is still there, and he glances around the rest of the deck. It isn't paranoia. It's simply a precaution.]

[Anna heard Harley's transmission, and within seconds she's barreling out of the buffet and into the hall, frantically on the lookout for Phoenix. She can protect him better shifted, but she'd rather him see her change first instead of running full force down the hall in his direction as a tiger.

Climbing a few levels of stairs, she starts shouting.]

Phoenix! Phoenix!

[It won't be easy to find Phoenix. In fact, he's trying not to be found. Considering all that's already happened, though, could anyone really blame him?

He's on deck three right now, though, trying to scavenge some medical supplies.]

[Anna doesn't blame him at all - she would be doing the exact same thing were she in his position.

However, it doesn't help her panic any that the first few places she checks are devoid of his presence. She'd checked his room - and had found what Harley had done and had kept going. She'll eventually stumble past deck three, still calling his name, though at this point she's a bit hoarse.]

[Phoenix is in the middle of tying a bandage around his arm when his keen hearing picks up Anna's voice. Frowning, he hesitates. Should he call out to her? Or should he avoid her? He doesn't want her to become a target if his attacker spots her with him.

In the end, he hesitates just a little too long. Anna might see him, standing next to a supply cabinet, clothing torn and bloody.]
