So that was what the city calls a curse. Is memory loss usual in the aftermath?

I've sold what wasn't needed of the little I arrived with. Next to find work and somewhere to stay that doesn't impose on the privacy of a friend.

It just skims the basics, really. But at least it's around. When I came in, there was absolutely nothing to go on.

I do. I travel a lot at home and I can still remember how grateful I was when the Lonely Planet guides went into publication.
