I need book suggestions. I don't know even what genre I feel like reading right now. So far this summer I've read Cat's Cradle and Brave New World, and Treasure Island. You'll probably like Peter and the Starcatchers and its sequel, Peter and the Shadow Thieves, by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson.
Hmmm, also Welcome to the Monkey House by Vonnegut, especially "EPICAC," "Harrison Bergeron" (there was a movie based on that one which I've been wanting to see), "Who Am I This Time?" "All the King's Horses," and "The Euphio Question." "Long Walk to Forever," "Tom Edison's Shaggy Dog," and "The Kid Nobody Could Handle" are also good. And I'm sure there are more good ones that I've forgotten about. It's a collection of short stories, in case you hadn't caught on.
I'd tell you to read Stranger in a Strange Land, but if you finished it before I did, I would not be able to face Detgen again.
Currently I am reading The Gun Seller by Hugh Laurie. I rather like it.
So, with the possible exception of some of the Vonnegut, there's my list of mainly un-deep reading material.
