Just Remember..."Grandpa's Famous Saying"... paltalkgal9 November 16 2005, 14:53:12 UTC
In case you are out of touch with the real-world, George Clooney is starring in a new movie titled "Syriana"...It looks really good and I am planning to see it this Friday. Besides the "catchy" title and the actor in the movie, what first grabbed my attention in the coming attractions was that the story line characterizes Saudi Arabia's King Fahad (maybe Abdullah, depending on the dateline). It also contains segments about "the War", and focuses upon "oil-wells" and blowing up stuff!!! It's going to be difficult for me to keep in mind that it is "Just A Movie"! Especially with you on your way to "that part of the world"...! The media and Hollywood have a strange way of spoon-feeding our current affairs to us these days...Cover up this, Uncover that...tell the truth here, but lie about it there! What surprises me is how much America pays more attention to story lines in fictional movies on the big silver screen, where the famous lead actor holds our fascination tightly, while most people sleep through the factual tidbits we get ( ... )

BTW...the movie is not released (yet)tonight...Its coming to the theaters near you on the 9th December...BUT the movie trailer is available at... http://syrianamovie.warnerbros.com/ ...It might be Clooney's best work yet...we'll have to wait to see! Maybe we'll go see his other movie if it is still out: "GOOD LUCK...AND GOOD NIGHT!" At first, I did not pay attention to who was starring in that movie! Any way...I am still keeping my plans for running away from home tonight...regardless of what movie we go to see! LOVE ALWAYS...MOM

Hey babe..

I'm sending you an e-mail, okay?
I sent you a letter, too, but I don't know if you'll get it or what, so.. I really wish I could see you, or at least talk to you on the phone.

I wish I could be around when you call back later today, but I have to go into Brooklyn and take my stupid ACT exam.

If you can manage to call me sometime soon it would be fantastic.

I love you.

Everyone's Got Issues... paltalkgal9 November 20 2005, 04:50:10 UTC
Oh okay...so where does the complaint line form...to the left or the right? I wanta complain about the person who made that stupid rule that you can't return an unwanted gift without a receipt...Already I received unwanted reviews about my Christmas display! Unfortunately my neighbors were being kind, and don't realize how much I hate the Christmas holidays! Danny wishes to purchase my house...and have me move far far FAR away...even though he claims he'll miss us! My newest neighbor Joe has a recipitory contract with my youngest child Benji...he came over to trouble shoot my brand new string of blue christmas lights that "Techno Picasso" was putting on the new Blue Spruce we planted in honor of Pat doing his first tour during the upcoming holidays...Sue gave the kids a lecture to treat Mommie extra-specially nice these days...before she has a nervous breakdown (again)...and DON just grins and thinks how he'd love to have a reason to start with the Pal of mine! I actually talked to my neighbor's wife today...a first since they ( ... )
