Character Information ;
Name: John Egbert
Name of Canon: Homestuck
Canon/AU/Other Game CR: Canon
Reference: The comic along with John's page on the MSPA Wiki.
Canon Point: Act 5 Part 2, just after ascension to the "God Tiers" (More on that later)
Setting: While Earth itself is more or less the modern day, there are, due to Homestuck's nature, several differences you should definitely be aware of!

Sylladexes and Captchalouging: Most of the characters in Homestuck have a hammerspace-like inventory, known as a Sylladex. Characters who have a Sylladex can Captchalouge (More or less a fancy term for storing) an item on their Captchalouge Cards. From what we've seen this is really no upper limit to exactly what can be stored on the card, as long as you can count it as exactly one item. (Recent instances have shown that "One ton of shaving cream" can fit into a card, as well as an entire car). However, if one tries to pick up something when their sylladex is full, a card (generally the bottom card of their sylladex) ejects the item it was holding to make room for a new one! This is generally pretty bad! John's Sylladex is set to the "Queustack Array" modus. Meaning he has four six-card Queuestacks he can choose from, and at any time he grab either the top or bottom card from that.

Strife Specibi and -kind Abstrati: Almost everyone in Homestuck also has a Strife Specibus, which more or less boils down to the weapon they can use. Any type or weapon they attempt to wield without having a strife specibus for they tend to screw up in some fashion. John has two Strife Specibi: His often used Hammerkind Abstratus - which allows him to offensively wield hammers of all shapes and sizes - and the Bunnykind Abstratus, which allows him to carry his BIRTHDAY PRESENTS - the AUTHENTIC CON-AIR BUNNY annd the LOVINGLY KNITTED BUNNY HEIRLOOM - which are in fact one and the same. (More on that later, too!)

As far as where John conducts most of these shenanigans, that would be known as The Inciphisphere - altogether, it's a pocket universe in which those fated to play Sburb conduct their play. Inside the Inciphisphere is The Medium - the space between the Dark Planet, Derse, and Skaia, the battlefield of the Light and Dark kingdoms. The Medium is populated by four planets: The Land of Wind and Shade (Which serves as John's planet), the Land of Heat and Clockwork, the Land of Light and Rain, and the Land of Frost and Frogs.

Skaia itself is hard to define, but it's current structure is that of a planet with branching out tendrils and overall taking a chessboard-esque color scheme. It is here where those chosen by Sburb are fated to eventually arrive - usually by going through the seven gates that connect each player's planet to Skaia.

Personality:

Your name is JOHN EGBERT.

John is pretty much a total goof and what you'd expect out of a 13-year-old kid. He doesn't take a lot of things seriously, and tends to get in debate about the quality of several horrible action movies that he likes. (Like Con Air, which is so sweet it's impossible to make John believe otherwise. Man so cool.) He can be kinda oblivious at times, and not really pick up on things right away. Regardless of that, he just tries to be a nice guy to everyone, even if they're not a nice guy to him.(See: Karkat) He tends to break out bad jokes and subtle irony (Though nowhere near the irony expert Dave is) to make his jokes. He's kinda passive and nerdy and tried to just be good overall, even if he tends to be the butt of his friends' jokes.

But even if he tries to be nice, John has quite the interest in all things prank or trickery related, as can be seen in his everyday life, some of his more recent talks with the trolls(Having managed to prank Karkat rather well on human anatomy, much to John's amusement), and his interest in being an AMATEUR MAGICIAN. His pranks tend to be silly or juvenile in nature, but always tend to be what could be considered 'friendly pranking'. That said, he is quite foolish and kinda gullible, and will readily believe most everything and trust people if they only say they mean well. (See: Terezi's 'help' below.)

John is also very optimistic, even in the face of a game session that seems all but unbeatable. He believes the best of people and believes things will always turn out alright as long as they work hard and believe in themselves. All in all, to quoth the creator himself: "John is adorable because he is honest and heroic and nerdy and a good friend."

Other things of note about John are that may or may not come up is that he is allergic to peanuts, he is left handed and he has a long time hatred of Betty Crocker and baked goods in general (This is mostly due to his father making an exorbitant amount of cakes for his birthdays to the point where John is sick of them.)

Abilities and Weaknesses:

Strengths:
The Heir of Breath - God Tiers: In the kid's Sburb Session, John is known as the Heir of Breath. This title brings with it powers and general control over wind, to the point where the top of the Echeladder(A levelling system in Sburb) allows him to pull off hurricanes that can cover a miniature planet. However. Thanks in part to one eight-eyed 'manipul8trix', John was killed on his Quest Bed - reviving as his Dreamself (A sort of extra life granted by Sburb) and ascending to what's known as the 'God Tiers'. It's rare for a player in a session of Sburb to make it to the God Tiers, as it usually involves setting in motion your own death. As the God Tier Heir, he has even more mastery of wind, showing that, at the least, he can use his wind powers to make things as heavy as a car take flight with ease.
Mangrit Super Strength: John is freakishly strong for his age, though not to the point where it's too terribly ridiculous. Well. At least not as ridiculous as some of the other super-strength wielders. The super strength is shown to run in John's family, and he's quickly learned how to dual-wield two sledgehammers at once. It's implied this is in fact a puberty-related superpower, and that effectively, the older he gets, the more ridiculous things he will be able to lift.

Weaknesses:
Naivete: John is a goofball, yes. However he is also an incredibly trusting goofball, in that, if you don't give him a reason -not- to trust you, he'll tend to trust you. This leads to a lot of silly business of getting smacked for his trusting of people, not that it does a lot!
Stubbornness: John is pretty stubborn about a lot of things. Most of them being doing things for his own good. We're talking stupidly stubborn. When given the choice to repeat history and blast off like an idiot and accidentally get his ass handed to him, or listen to his friend who'll say he's going to get killed, his first instinct is to blast off! (He quickly reconsiders, but the fact stands.)
Age: Despite the level of maturity needed to handled a world-ending scenario, John is pretty much a 13-year-old kid, and as such, he tends to act like one most of the time.

Inventory:

Sylladex: Queuestack Array
- 4 Arrays (With 4 cards each instead of six to keep things manageable)
- Can place items into one of four Queustacks when picking them up
- Can retrieve the topmost or bottommost item of each Queuestack.

(1) Heir of Breath Questing Outfit (Clothing, Worn on arrival)
(1) Fear No Anvil (Weapon, Hammerkind. Ability: Can stun someone/trap them in time for roughly 5-10 seconds)
(1) Serious Business Goggles (Accessory, Glasses, functions as an Instant Messaging client that can hook up with the network)
(1) Wise Guy Slime Suit (Change of clothing, consists of 1 black dress undershirt. 1 pair teal dress pants, 1 teal suit jacket, 1 green tie, various miscellaneous harmless magic tricks)
(1) Green Slime Ghost Shirt w/ Belt and Pants (Change of clothing)
(1) Junior Ectobiologist's Lab Suit (Change of clothing)
(1) Vriska Imitation Outfit (Change of clothing, consists of 1 Green overshirt, 1 pair blue jeans, 1 pair rocket-painted shoes, and 1 black Green Slime Ghost Shirt)
(1) Crosbytop Computer (Accessory, laptop modeled after Bing Crosby. Now with creepy blinking action!)

If any of this is too much, let me know! I have zero issues revising this.

Appearance: John is a caucasian-looking, tall, lanky kid, who has constantly messy black hair, and is never seen without a pair of square-rimmed glasses to aid his presumably poor vision. His most casual outfit, as described above, is the Green Slime Ghost Shirt (Which is in fact a shirt with a Japanese knock-off of Slimer from Ghostbusters emblazoned on it). He has various outfits he dresses up in to suit the occasion, and tend to look fairly average.

Age: 13

Samples ;
Log Sample:

John looked around, and yet all he could see was green. Bright green fire, which was igniting the oil around him steadily, began to close him on him and his small patch of land.

Was it getting hot here? Oh, wait. Fire. Duh, John.

But what could he do!? He was trapped, there was no way his friends could help, and he couldn't do anything to stop it....

JOHN, I APOLOGIZE IN A MANNERLY WAY FOR MY BIG LETTERS.
BUT I MUST URGE YOU TO ADDRESS THIS DANGER.

Oh boy, it was the kind of rude voice in his head, again. He didn't really have the time to deal with this! He was busy figuring out how to not get consumed by fire...

WHY DON'T YOU DO THE WINDY THING?

John shook his head in confusion. I dunno what the windy thing is!

BOY. YOU'RE BEING VERY STUPID. YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT.
DO THE WINDY THING.
MAKE IT BLOWY AND GUSTY.
YOU FOOL.
YOU CAN'T DIE YET.
NOT IN THE TASTY FIRE.
YOU ARE A HERO.
MAKE THE BREEZE HAPPEN.
DO THE WINDY THING.

John clutched his head in his hands, dropping to his knees as the heat crescendoed all around him. What windy thing? He had no idea, he didn't know what he was supposed to do, all he was doing was getting a headache before he was going to die.

DO THE WINDY THING DO THE WINDY THING DO THE WINDY THING

Suddenly, John felt something happen. Like a dam bursting, he felt something rush out of him in all directions - a translucent blue wind, his own body glowing as is gusted out in all directions, rapidly swelling in size until it covered everything around him, dousing the green flames with the force of a hurricane.

John now knew, without a doubt, what the 'Windy Thing' was.

Network Sample:

[Note: As with most Homestuck characters, John types in a manner relatively unique to him. His font color is a deep blue, and uses proper syntax, but zero capitalization. The example below is carried out in this fashion.]

woah!
hey, where am i? this doesn't look like skaia...
i mean, one second i'm staring at these clouds, and then i'm here!
so weird...
but, anyway! i'm john!
if anyone can help me out, that'd be really appreciated.
