I am outraged at what happened today. It was a bad day to begin with..but to have to come home and find out about what happened at Virginia Tech just sent me over the edge. I went into freakout mode because I know two people there and I called my dad trying to find out one of their dad's numbers because we've been friends with their family all ( Read more... )

I am right there with you, and I keep thinking, what if it were Salem? What if it were ECU? What if it were NC State?

I am glad Jay is ok, I thought of him when I heard it yesterday- and your family friends. My suitemate's sister's boyfriend attends, as do several of their friends, so our suite was glued to the tv yesterday morning.

I know..it just makes you question all these things..and I hate that it makes us feel unsafe.

Yea Jay instantly came to mind..as well as my friend James McIntyre(you know their family right?) I got ahold of James and talked to him for a few. Jay got online and put up a message..I left him a message on facebook because I didn't have his number. It was an intense few hours.
