... I've spent the last few hours going from guilty, to upset, to angry, to annoyed. I can't worry about her taking the things I do personally. How am I otherwise expected to move on? I've got more than enough on my plate just trying things outside my comfort zone...

Better than expected week thus far...
... Theo's parent-teacher conference was yesterday. Although I can't say I'm pleased with the call I got from his teacher today, I was expecting worse from yesterday, given the behavior he's shown since school came back from X-Mas break. ... I'm off to Miami. Wish I could say it was for pleasure; at least it will be therapeutic. My dad died a year ago tomorrow. I'm meeting up with my mom and brother to scatter his ashes at sea. I've been thinking about him a lot lately ( Read more... ) -

Fairly busy week or so...
... enough that I haven't been able to do much more than peek at LJ for a while. Otherwise, very quiet on the domestic issues. Theo's sick; Ashley's been way sicker, so he's been with me a few extra days to keep from catching whatever deadly funk she has.
