Postcard and email message
Thought I would share my postcard and message. I am still sending out postcards and emails weekly. I do hope others are do so as well.

I am writing this letter to express my disappointment in the “creative call” to cancel Stargate Atlantis as a weekly TV series and “promote” it to movie format. A movie is not what the fans want! We want SGA to continue on as a weekly TV series!
The fans voted SGA as The People’s Choice for favorite scifi show. I was one of those fans. I have also supported my favorite show by buying all 4 seasons on DVD, bought episodes from Amazon.com and each edition of the magazine.
As SciFi commercials promote, season 5 is the best season ever. But how does the show get rewarded, by being canceled! This makes no sense at all and many fans of SGA have voiced similar opinion. I ask that you please reconsider the cancellation and do the right thing and continue the tradition of passing on the baton, so to speak, by introducing Stargate Universe in a few episodes of SGA and then spinning off the show from there. This was done for SGA. If I had not seen McKay in SG-1 and then seen the expedition launched in SG-1, I would have never tuned in to see SGA. I believe you will attract more fans this way, but as it is, you are going to lose more fans. I for one will not be tuning in to watch SGU or anything else on SciFi because of your lack of commitment to current fans. Because I feel ignored and discounted I feel I have no choice but to boycott SciFi and any future Stargate franchise shows. Please don’t do this and bring back fans to the fold by renewing Stargate Atlantis and then bring in Stargate Universe. Your fans deserve to be treated right and thanked for their years of support.
