i can't afford culinary school in the states (because i would'nt be able to work, the exchange rate is risky, and the only place i could possibly get a loan required an american co-signer which wasn't seeming likely to happen).which sucks because i really wanted to go to the FPS and live in chicago. but i will be visiting for two-two.5 months, starting in october.

But of course, I've got to know: Do you get to wear a big, puffy chef's hat at culinary school?

I don't think it would be much fun, unless they let you show up dressed like Chef Boy-R-Dee every day.

thanks. at this school, they wear "toques" apparantly. smaller hats, less flamboyance.
