커피프린스 1호점 (The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince for us Korean illiterates) LKFJLSKFJSLDKJALKJLKJFWKFJSLDKFJSIETJOS!! I loved it. And I don't know why. It's silly and cheesy but I loved it!

The story in a nutshell
Go Eun Chan (beautiful Yoon Eun Hye) is not feminine AT ALL, she dresses, talks, walks and moves like a boy. A really pretty boy.

Choi Han Kyul (so freaking hot!Gong Yoo) is our typical spoiled rich guy, and his life is so complicated, man! First, his grandmother wants him to get a job, ohnoes! And after he refuses she orders him to get married! That's a big no-no so Han Kyul, thinking Eun Chan is a boy, hires her to be his gay lover in order to avoid the dates his grandmother arranged for him. Eun Chan, desperately in need of money (her sister is a mini-bitch, her mother is a JOKE and her father is deadh), had no choice but to accept.

Enter a filthy coffee shop and three funny but cute guys, and not long after, feelings start to spark between Han Kyul and Eun Chan, but, hmmm, Han Kyul is not gay...

Eday says...
Coffee Prince is so fucking obsessive! And I know it's not that good but it's fresh and fun, cheeky, poignant, heart-warming, the main couple is adorable, the side characters are amusing and lovable... I couldn't help loving it. I liked everbody, specially Yoon Eun Hye, she definitely stole my heart. She's the real reason Coffee Prince rocks, her performance was brilliant!

Something that I didn't see coming was the standout sountrack, there were many beautiful songs, my favorite is Sad Thing by 어른아이... incredibly touching, it's not on the official soundtrack but it's the background song for the last scene of episode 10(OMGOMGOMGOMG), you can find the entire song list here.

I have a SUCH A HUGE soft spot for Koreans...

gong yoo, yoon eun hye, dramarama, koreans own me
