Day 17: A korean celeb that everybody likes but you don't
Big Bang.
All the cool guys (not really but you get my point) seem to love them to death, my sister practically wants to have T.O.P's babies and all the good k-pop sites write about every singe thing they do. G-Dragon some sort of god or something, T.O.P too, Taeyang is everybody's wet dream, and the others - I don't know their names - Seungri? and what's-his-name? also have tons of fangirls dying for them. It's hard not to know what's new with them but I simply don't pay attention. They're not that great.
I'm not saying they're particularly bad or anything, their songs are pretty good and they seem like a lot of fun but I'm not "drawn" to them. AT ALL. I feel like they're trying too hard to be something they're not. T.O.P once said something in an interview, I don't know what exactly but it was something along the lines of "I'm working hard to become a hip-hop rapper" and I was like, well, if he's trying to become one then it's not something he would associate with himself, and yet that's not what we see.
Maybe I'm being too harsh but I can't get rid of that concept of Big Bang Fakeness and I don't really care if I do. The only "great" thing about them is their (sometimes too weird) new looks and well, they're good performers, I guess, but they're not that good.
