And yeah, LJ has changed a lot over the years. I have been actively blogging under this account since September 2002. It has been over 10 years now! Wild. You are one of my oldest friends who still updates. The good thing about LJ though is that you don't have to adopt their updates. I am still using the same interface that was up when I joined in 2002. I also refused to update to the new Friend's layout.
Also, I like your Spanish entries. You write like my professors in college. Why does everyone on the internet write like this: "K sHooo! GuuEeeYyy vIsTe lA naCaAaaa eNN El baIlLe AnOcHeeee!? AyyYY uNNaaaa hyYnnA! Jajaja!"?????
I mean wtf!? When I had Facebook all my Spanish speaking friends wrote like this. All of them! Didn't matter their ages. 13? 45? All the same. Except one girl from DF whose family was wealthy. Strangely her younger sisters wrote like the example above though. However, if I could even speak as well as those people I would be grateful. LOL! I am a very sad foreign language learner. :P

I could write about this particular topic of LJ for ages. Lately I've been trying to put myself in the shoes of the LJ staff and I've found that I can, that's something that didn't happen for a long time after Frank sold LJ. Currently, I am using the new update page but I keep the old friends page. In general, I think the new profile design is cleaner and nice-looking, except for the blue-fading background in every section. There was a time I thought I'd never use the control topbar (I used to bitch non-stop about how ugly and unuseful it was), and guess what I'm doing now ( ... )
