My Wii broke last night and will no longer read game disks. I am so very very sad. Nintendo is sending me another one, but I was about an hour away from beating Super Paper Mario and now I'm going to have to start all over again from the beginning, wah.

Have you sent back your old one yet? I think you can copy game saves to an SD card. That way you won't have to go *all* the way back...

Ooh, I hadn't even thought of that. I will see if I can copy over my game save when I get home tonight. Thanks for giving me hope. :)

damn it's still practically new. That blows.

Fortunately, the Nintendo support people were very nice when I called and they are sending me a replacement which should arrive by the end of the week, if not by tomorrow.

Well that's a relief. I'm sorry you are sans wii for the moment though.
