I upgraded my iMac to Leopard. Upon reboot, my computer froze on a blue screen. Apparently this is a known issue, so while I wasted a lot of time prior to searching apple support for the answer, at least I was finally able to fix it ( Read more... )

Yup. I spend a lot of time on the forums and user pages. The common thought is : wait. 10.5.2 was seeded, so soon!

I probably should have looked into it more before I upgraded. But I know several other people who upgraded with no issues, one of whom lives with me so I saw it with my own eyes!! I'm scared to upgrade my macbook at work now, cos that one, you know...has my paycheck riding on it. :)

Did you know it's Mercury Retrograde? It's a notorious time for machines to blow up. Heh. Hopefully the issues get sorted out.

My ice cream maker is pretty crap too. One day I will upgrade to a better one that will actually freeze solid so I don't just make cold flavored milk.

Never regret shoes. Shoes are awesome.

I did not know it was Mercury Retrograde!! That explains soooo much. I need to keep on top of these things. :)

Thanks for the supportive words vis-à-vis shoes. They *are* awesome! :D

our tivo HD died back in December, and when we called they offered to upgrade us for about $150. We declined, because a new harddrive from weaknees was only like $120, and it was a tivo we didn't use much anyway.

This past week I called to cancel service on it (why pay 10 bucks a month when it's dead?) and they offered us a dual tuner 80 hr replacement for $67.

It arrived yesterday :)
