So, having people over Sunday was nice. It was essentially a bunch fo former/current coworkers, and a couple random friends, but I've been cognizent of the fact that most of my friends are people I have worked with at one point in time or another. And I've never denied the fact that I'm a complete and utter workaholic ( Read more... )

-Maybe you need stronger glasses? Headaches related to your monthly?
-The cheesecake was really good. I loved the rasberry stuff on top and i there isnt things I'd change about it. =)
-Years ago i had a really good friend at work..or so I thought. She stuck up for me and it was great to have an ally at work. Though the years things changed between her and I and she became a toxic friend. I finnaly let her go and it wasnt easy. (No not saying this is the same. just talking..) Then on to other companys..and the next friend was my boss and I even took her to a special club and shared things with her. We are still friends though dont see each other much. The last two work places I was close with nobody. Things flux and change and Im glad becasue I was able to find a good place for myself. I suspect the next place I'll have a close buddy if not, its okay too - I still have the internet!
-It was a big mess on Sunday. Wished I'd helped clean up.

I do need a little stronger perscription, but I don't know if it's related to that or not. I got referred to an eye doc though, so we shall see. I know it's not the monthly though. :/

Thank you, I really loved your bundt(?) cake as well. So delicious and chocolatey. mmmmm.

I much prefer real-time, in-person interaction. The internet, while I love it, just doesn't cut it.

Medium mess, I'm sure we'll survive. But it's not your job to clean up, yo.

Quite conveniently, most of the mess is still right where we left it at the end of the party!

I saw that position on Indeed.com and was cursed because I picked the Feminist major and not a science or education major :( that job would be perfect for me

Even if you were a sci/ed major, I can tell you flat out you wouldn't have gotten the job because you have no classroom teaching experience, and they want 5 years. They may negotiate the years down a bit, but not too much, since it's at a higher pay scale than I am, and I had 3 years of both direct and closely related experience for my position.

I also would never recommend this as a workplace.
