I wasn't planning on writing a eulogy, but it turns out that's what I've done:

Interestingly enough, I'm sitting exactly where I was sitting a year ago when I saw the news that GNP had died unexpectedly overnight on a band trip.  I'm at the same desk in the IT Help Desk where I was sitting back then.  It was a Thursday,
