Yeah, Radiohead have done that. But, that was ten years ago, so I think we're due for another song about dressing gowns.

Beware of cornershop journeys in a dressing gown, sir. Next thing you know you'll be in Heat magazing as part of their 'stars who are lazy' feature.

Although I have done this journey in a dressing gown, I always stick a big coat on over it. It is then imperative to tuck the cord away else people will realise that you're still dressed for bed.

what are you wearing on your legs? pyjama bottoms ? or is it a very long coat?

An uber-long (and rather lovely) cashmere coat. It's important to stay partly classy when one is dressed for bed.

um...maybe for a few days from friday. am playing at the barfly on saturday if you want to come. it might be horrible...otherwise, tea and cake or bad indie disco at some point? if you can find a club that plays carter followed by mindless drug hoover in this day in age. X

I think you should write a song about dressing gowns and standing around in airports in your underwear. I sense a top 10 single.

Hello, Joe Angular here...

I just got my hands on the unreleased denim album 'denim take over'! some of the tracks appear on 'tearing up the album charts' (transgressions, city centre and ddu which is called 'Cilla, lorra laughs')... it's great! I also moments ago discovered that there is a third g-k-m album in production which supposedly features lots of the other songs of 'denim take over'...
As for the luke haines album, i have to say i'm a bit disappointed, - you're right he has become denim on record - but just not as good.

Haines has gone 'off the boil at the artschool bop' it hurts me to say. i think he should really turn his hands to reading childrens stories - 'hainescasts' in the mould of jarvis.... maybe it's time for some 'brutcasts' too....
