*Devlin has made his way, unsees around to where Eddie is throwing pitches. Carefully looking about, he is certain that Locke's little "Yank" is alone.

With his gun drawn, he slides up behind the man.*

Eddie didn't even hear Devlin approach. Spinning around, he drops the ball he's holding in surprise. He freezes when he sees the gun. And he definitely doesn't want to go anywhere with this guy.

"Maybe later?"

*Jack laughs*

Sorry, mate. I think it will be now.

*One hand is encased in a cast, the other holds the gun that he gestures towards the car with.*

As long as you do what I say, I won't hurt you. Let's go, Yank. Jason is waiting.

And now the fear's setting in. "Eddie," he corrects without thinking. Only Jason calls him Yank and it sounds wrong from anyone else. Especially from this guy. Of course, everything Devlin's saying sounds wrong. Did he mean he had Jason? No, no way. There's someone around apparently watching out for him and the last thing Eddie wants to do is get in that car.

He pulls off his baseball mitt slowly. "Where are we going?"
